TENNESSEE BUN COMPANY
Founded by Cordia & Tom Harrington, Tennessee Bun Company (TBC) is a high-speed bun line, baking 1000 buns per minute.
1999
NASHVILLE BUN COMPANY ACQUISITION
Nashville Bun Company (NBC) is acquired as a packaging facility.
2001
ENGLISH MUFFIN GRIDDLE
An English Muffin line is added to Nashville Bun Company.
2005
COLD STORAGE OF NASHVILLE ACQUISITION
An 85,000 sq. ft. freezer facility, Cold Storage of Nashville (CSN), is purchased.
2007
FROZEN DOUGH LINE BUILT
Cornerstone Frozen, a frozen dough line, was built at CSN, serving biscuit and dough pucks to the restaurant industry.
2011
BISCUIT LINE BUILT
A biscuit line was added at NBC to expand operational capabilities.
2014
MASADA BAKERY ACQUISITION
This Atlanta, GA bakery has bagel, bun, bread & pastry lines, delivering product to over 1,400 customers in the southeastern US.
2015
RENAMING
The Bun Companies realized they are more than a “bun company” and became The Bakery Cos.
2017
SWEET ROLL LINE INTRODUCTION
Introduced sweet roll line to produce cinnamon rolls and other specialty products.
2019
ARBOR INVESTMENTS PARTNERSHIP
The Bakery Cos. partners with Arbor Investments, signifying the start of a significant growth period.
2020
ACQUISITIONS EXPAND FOOTPRINT AND PRODUCT CATEGORIES
The Bakery Cos. acquires Steck Wholesale Foods and Smyrna, GA facility.

CROWN BAKERIES REBRAND
The Bakery Cos. undergoes a brand refresh, becoming Crown Bakeries and launching a new website.
